The Kentucky Consumer Conference is an annual gathering of over 400 individuals living with
mental illness from across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
KYSTARS is so excited to be having this year's conference live and also available virtually for folks that can’t attend in-person. It feels incredible to be able to offer an in-person conference this year.
We have realized "returning to normal" after the COVID-19 pandemic, takes the whole community to Grow. That’s why the role of peers is so important. The benefits of an individual finding their Community with family, friends, providers, supportive strangers and of course, a wonderful PEER SUPPORT SPECIALIST, cannot be underestimated. Building Community is our focus as we emerge from the pandemic and is also the theme of this year’s KYSTARS Kentucky Consumer Conference.
We, once again, will offer workshops geared toward all Consumers, Kentucky Peer Support Specialists, those working in Consumer Operated Service Programs, and Substance Use Programs. All conference workshops are approved for continuing education credits for KY Peer Support Specialists.
We can’t wait to for you to "Grow Together, Grow Better" with us!
